A comparative study og Egyptian pottery during the 13th century BCE in three major Canaanite city-States: Megiddo, Hazor and Lachish.
In order to understand the changes taking place before the devastation of the Late Bronze Age, it's important to better define the Egyptian involvement in major city-States. Our knowledge of the 13th century is limited, located between the Amarna century and the collapse of the palatial system. The study of Egyptian and Egyptianized pottery can shed light on this key period. Methodology and targets of this thesis.
