Abstract
I will introduce you Momocs, a brand new R package for morphological studies. It is intended to ease and popularize elliptical Fourier analysis to describe and compare outline analysis. From outline extraction of images and elliptical Fourier calculation to multivariate analysis and the visualization of transformations within the morphological space, Momocs provides a complete and convenient toolkit to specialists within every field that are, or may be, interested in morphological comparisons of outlines. A short mathematical introduction will preceed a overview of the package possibilities and a live show starring a case study will concludes this talk.
