Postcolonialism, Internal colonialism and Racial Hegemony in Latin America, 19th to 21st century
Federico Navarrete Linares (Mexico, 1964), historian and anthropologist, is a researcher at the Institute of Historical Research of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) and member of the National System of Researchers. His main research topics are the indigenous conceptions of time and history and the transformations of Amerindian societies after the conquest, and to the present. His publications include Los pueblos indígenas del México contemporáneo (2008), Las relaciones interétnicas en México (2004), La conquista de México (2000) and La vida cotidiana en tiempos de los Mayas (1996).
